    . these two men are brothers who have met for the first time after 50 years of separation from the korean war


    On the morning of March 11, 1918 a Private at Fort Riley, KA reported to the hospital with flu-like symptoms. By noon over 100 fellow soldiers had joined him. It's believed these were the first cases of the 1918 influenza epidemic, later dubbed The Spanish Influenza. It spread quickly, traveling with US soldiers to the front. By the end of 1918 between 50-80 million people had died, making it even deadlier than WWI itself.

    The World Trade Center complex opened on April 4, 1973. The twin towers were the tallest structures in the world until the Sears Tower was built in Chicago later that year.
