I found this tip on they crayola website too. I'm going to try it because a crayon just went through with the laundry and made little spots on everything! How to remove old (or new) oil stains from a t-shirt/jeans... (1) saturate the stain with WD-40 and allow it to soak in for a while. (2) Hit spots with dawn or another good degreasing detergent. Scrub in. (3) launder as usual...maybe a couple of times to make sure you get rid of the WD-40 smell.
This really works, amazing! My mother tried it with success and then told me, so I tried it too! :-) Great way to clean Oven Top Filters-- Boil a big pot of water, add a half cup of baking soda (but only one tablespoon at a time - it fizzes). Drop the filter in and watch the grease slide off. Rinse, repeat if desired (I scrubbed gently in some spots).
