It was fun to do, but messy. I think using an embossing heat gun would be better than a hair dryer. The hair dryer splattered the melting crayons. I did one with red, pink and purple crayons and masked out a heart with tape.

Use duct tape for words. Place crayons on top. Blow dry on high heat till crayons melt. Blow dry side to side to blend colors. Slowly remove duct tape to reveal words. I've seen the crayon thing before, but love the duct tape idea!
