I think this is supposed to look like Saturn. The planet is see through, the "rings" are the sombrero galaxy and are not aligned with the planet.

Renowned researcher Lawrence Edwards found that tree buds changed shape and size rhythmically, in regular cycles all through winter, directly correlating to the moon and planets. The oak for example, appears to change with Mars, the Beech with Saturn and the Birch with Venus. Curiously, Edwards also found that overhead power lines disrupted this planetary influence. -Sacred Ecology

I look up at the beautiful sky filled with stars and wonder if you are thinking about me as well.

View of the 'Milky Way' in the direction of the constellation of Sagittarius - we're 2/3 of the way out on the spiral arm & so are seeing into the star density of the Galactic Center.

I could spend all day and night looking at the sky if life didn't get in the way. And if it wasn't so dang cold outside.

Heaven's ebon vault, studded with stars unutterably bright, through which the moon's unclouded grandeur rolls, seems like a canopy which love has spread to curtain her sleeping world.

Where I'd like to be right now - alone on a plane, headed anywhere far away. I love that anonymous feeling and knowing no one really knows where I am. I miss this.

What an array of colors! Dariusz Lakomy captures the Milky Way during a foggy night beautifully.
