Madeleine Albright's story of growing up in Czechoslovakia and experiences in WWII. Covers her discovering all the info about her heritage that had been hidden from her until she learned about them as an adult. This is probably the best book I read last year.

Amazing memoir from a Holocaust survivor with a beautiful twist at the end! Gerda Weissman Klein epitomizes the survivor. I heard her speak a few years back and she was just awe-inspiring to listen to. It's been a while since I read it but I probably will again in the near future!
