Advice? I don't have advice. Stop aspiring and start writing. If you're writing, you're a writer. Write like you're a goddamn death row inmate and the governor is out of the country and there's no chance for a pardon. Write like you're clinging to the edge of a cliff, white knuckles, on your last breath, and you've got just one last thing to say, like you're a bird flying over us and you can see everything. Alan Watts (1915 - 1973)
"I think it’s fairly common for writers to be afflicted with two simultaneous yet contradictory delusions--the burning certainty that we’re unique geniuses, and the constant fear that we’re witless frauds who are speeding toward epic failure." -Scott Lynch
A Lovely Antique Ford Typewriter From Martin Howard's Collection
This incredibly beautiful machine is one of the more recent additions to the already-formidable antique typewriter collection of Martin Howard. The appliance was manufactured in 1895 by the Ford Typewriter Company.
“There is a vintage typewriter on the label of our McEvoy Ranch Evening Standard Pinot noir because it reminds us of a time when stories about important world events were mostly told in print newspapers,” said Nion McEvoy.
