NewTek's TriCaster is a portable live production system that enables a single operator or small team to produce and stream multi-camera broadcast quality video. This "TV truck in a box" is widely used by broadcasters (MTV, Turner Sports, ESPN), sports leagues and teams (NHL, NBA D-League, NY Giants), schools, corporations and houses of worship to live stream a wide variety of programming.

"Expansion was discussed at Wednesday’s NBA Board of Governors meeting in Dallas, but only in general terms, said NBA Commissioner David Stern. There were 'generalized talks that it would be good in the future' to consider expansion, but Stern said any serious talks among owners on expansion would have to await the completion of negotiations on the NBA’s next TV deals. Those deals, with ESPN and Turner Sports, do not expire until after the 2015-16 season." Dave Cochran, Seattle
