    "The Last Kiss" WWII

Train Station Goodbye Don't know how many times my parents had to say good-bye like this during the war years...

In this picture, a soldier is about to leave for war. He is all ready to go and packed up in the train, but before it departs, he has to lean out and give his girl a big kiss. The powerful pic shows the high level of emotions they must have been going through. It seems like it would be hard for the both of them. Private Joe Sunseri grabs this last minute kiss on March 11, 1942 from his girl, Alma Teresi.
