Preschool Math: What Do Kids Need to Learn?

This is so fantastic! I'd probably do this as a math money activity to practice the 2nd grade standard of adding up a collection of coins :)

Counting coins, making change, and solving money word problems are all important skills. Here are some ideas to help you teach them!

Great visual for money!

Use a hundred chart to help students count coins. Have students place coins on the correct number. For instance, given 3 dimes and 1 nickel, students would place dimes on 10, 20, 30 and the nickel on 35. The last coin tells students how much money they have altogether.

Domino Math. Be sure to print this in "landscape". You could also white out the plus symbol and substitute a multiplication symbol. Print this on regular paper to use as a worksheet, or on cardstock that you laminate to use with wet erase markers for repeated use.

good for learners who need to actually manipulate the graph for how many more, how many less, how many together...etc.

Love the visual and class brainstorming to fill in key words for math operations.

Dice sheets...could do for addition, subtraction and multiply.
