Don't you love these painted pots? While Many folks are painting their own pots in similar fashion to these, we've been told by one of our readers that Studio M is a god source for pots that are already done. BUT...if you are feeling artsy, you can do this yourself with some paint and vinyl decal monograms!!!
Thompson’s Water Seal from Lowe’s which isor sealing terra cotta pots so they can be painted. $4 Spray it all along the inside of the pot (the sides and the base) and it locks the moisture in so it can’t seep through and cause your paint to bubble or peel. A few thin coats will look like the pots have just absorbed it all when they dry (they don’t appear to be darker or shiny afterwords).
