DIY Gang of Ghosts by Kristi Cameron, Countryliving: Make these cuties with black paper eyes glued onto white tissue-paper bells and draped with cheesecloth.
Ghost Fence: For each ghost, insert a 1/4-inch-diameter dowel into an 8-inch-diameter plastic-foam ball; glue to secure. Drive the other end of the dowel into the ground. Cut up both sides of a white garbage bag; lay it over the ball. Layer one yard of cheesecloth over the bag. Gather both materials below the plastic-foam ball and tie with a ribbon. Cut three ovals from adhesive-backed black felt and place on ghost's head. Use safety pins to attach the edges of the ghosts together
These hand-painted 5"x7" canvases are the perfect decoration for Fall, and can be used as a decoration inside, as well as outside. They are painted with acrylic paints, and then finished with Mod Podge to give them a shiny look.

Adorn your front stoop with a tangle of lifeless branches and vines hung from porch rafters. Paint gourds white and add ghostly expressions with black paint. Suspend gourds from the rafters so they hang down among the vines. When darkness comes, the apparitions will be illuminated by shifting shadows, a scene guaranteed to frighten and chill.
