Yes, the real one. The original. It remains one of my favorite movies. It is also the last movie I saw with my best friend before she died, so it's a sentimenal one for me.

Footloose (1984) The original is better than the 2011 remake. In this film, a city teenager moves to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned, and his rebellious spirit shakes up the populace. The soundtrack still is epic for the '80's, the story is universal about teenage rebellion, the tagline is brilliant "All he wanted to do was dance" (imdb: 6,2) Love this movie!

Footloose (1984) made itself an 80s icon movie when #KevinBacon decided to throw on a pair of sweats and show off his dance skills in a rundown warehouse. The movie is set in a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned. Rated: PG; Running time: 107 min.

Footloose 1984 When teenager Ren McCormack (Kevin Bacon) and his family move from big-city Chicago to a small Midwestern town, he's in for a real case of culture shock. Though he tries hard to fit in, the streetwise Ren can't quite believe he's living in a place where rock music and dancing are illegal.

"Let's dance!!!!!" - the REAL Footloose :)

Three female employees of a "sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot" find a way to turn the tables on him.

Entertaining, with some notable departures from the original but many scenes/lines were verbatim. No replacement for Kevin Bacon's.

Got to love Pitt with the long hair in this one. Cried like a baby during this movie.

"Footloose Poster" Fell in love with Kevin Bacon. A rebel against the parents move. Good, if you don't throw out all the wisdom gained by the over thirty crowd.

First movie I saw with a friend and not a parent along to chaperone. Loved it then and still do. Would I be a traitor if I decide to watch the remake?

Footloose...hope the remake is as good as the original. in theaters 10/14/11

Forrest Gump (1994) Wonderful movie... Forrest Gump, while not intelligent, has accidentally been present at many historic moments, but his true love, Jenny, eludes him.
