5-Star*****Carnitas..this smells unbelievable in the CROCKPOT. It is So delicious..read directions carefully-uses a 4-5lb. pork shoulder or butt, but once you shred it and remove most of the fat, its enough for a meal with leftovers, even better the next day! Slow Cooker Moroccan Stew - Vegetarian meal, with chickpeas, green lentils, butternut squash, zucchini, Greek yogurt - could sub veggie broth for chicken or beef and also add in meat, I'd wager. Super healthy and flavorful sounding!

Slow cooker beef stew: this was good but I'm going to try a slightly different recipe to see which I like better. I also didn't bother with searing the beef and just tossed it in a bag with flour, salt and pepper instead of making the gravy at the end. I like easy when at all possible. Half the recipe or plan on freezing some. "B"
