Edible ornaments: Orange Stars: Cut orange slices approx. 1/4 inch thick. Layer two differently sized orange slices with an anise star on top. Bind with gold craft wire, and add ribbon for hanging...also cinnamon stick bundles. I love this.

Drill a hole in the bottom of your (real) Christmas tree & it'll soak up the water a lot faster therefore keeping the tree healthier for longer!

Great idea on how to keep your X-Mas tree fresh longer :) Drilling a diameter hole up the center of the tree trunk will help it soak up much more water, keeping it fresher longer! Next year for sure.
