What a great and relaxing drive with overnight stays in Cadillac, Michigan; Mackinac Island, Michigan; Iron Mountain, Michigan; Mayville, Wisconsin; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Highlights included visiting the Gerald Ford Museum, Staying at the Grand Hotel, Petting Deer at the Deer Ranch, a stay at the Audobon Boutique Hotel and brunch at Mader's where we dined at the same table Bob Hope dined at on August 25, 1968.

Petoskey Stones from Lake Michigan! One of my best friends and I visited another of our best friends in Michigan and ended up kayaking in Lake Michigan where we 'stepped' in the water to our knees and pulled out alot of these rocks to take back home with us. We were in the water for about a minute!! It was all we could handle because it was so cold!!! Labor Day weekend.
