Raccoon Quilt - this would be a great way to do a quilt of Charley Harper work...

Combine colorful strips of fabric with a crisp white to make this cheery pyramid block quilt. Use the handy Fons & Porter 60° Pyramids Ruler, or make your own triangle template. This quilt, Strippy Pyramids by Tony Jacobson, is fat-quarter friendly.

Reminds me of one I had that Grandma F had made with colourful vintage fabric, but got lost by my ex-boyfriend :(

Lieblingsdecke. German for "favorite blanket." I learned a new word AND got to see a beautiful quilting idea!

The quilt was pieced. If you try this on your own, make sure not to sew the strips of fabric together in a rectangular shape, otherwise you will have a lot of waste. Sew them together offset, like steps. Keep in mind that you’ll need the stepped strip sets (say that ten times fast!) going in two different directions to make this pattern.

Amazing Quilt I would like to do something like this with scraps from quilts that I have made....how long do I wait to gather scraps? or do I just do it now?

Great use of little scraps in the "Splat Quilt"
