A post by Jess... Bright roadside signs for advertising our garage & yard sale, no date (as in 00/00) so we can use them again and again in the future. Made with 2 green posters & 1 foam board for backing from Dollar Tree, white chalk paint & scrapbook stickers we had at home (until I ran out), pink labeling stickers for balloons, even my bag of red balloons is from the Dollar Tree, and of course 2 sharpie markers. No lost shoppers here! ☺ Thanks for the likes and comments!
good sale sign example. Another idea for signs is to use paper grocery bags to draw your signs on then fill the bottom with heavy rocks, stuff with newspaper and staple shut. Ta da! - easy, portable signs that you can just place on the ground. If you use crayon to make your signs, the lettering won't run if it gets wet. I use a permanent marker and make the lettering extra extra wide.
