Avocado Gazpacho Soup - recipe creator Jerry James Stone has a different approach to cooking than me - more playful and higher raw - I think it's his California consciousness. Summer lasts much longer there. His recipe for Avocado Gazpacho Soup uses green tomatoes, garlic and serrano pepper, which I tend not to eat, and fresh tarragon leaves, which I never see in my neck of the woods.
Gazpacho, lavishly garnished. Can be served in a bowl, glass or mug. The traditional version from Andalucía in southern Spain has stale bread, olive oil, wine vinegar, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, garlic. (Follow the link to Béa Peltre's recipe.)
