This is the BEST sandwich bread I have ever made. I made the dough two nights ago, and the result was two humongous, fluffy, seriously delicious loaves! I used half whole-wheat flour and half white flour.
White sandwich bread – probably the simplest bread recipe, soft and fluffy, with a yellowish crumb and a chewy crust, this bread it perfect for Pb&J or any deli sandwiches and even for making French toast.
Oatmeal Buttermilk Whole Wheat Bread//This bread turned out great! The recipe says you really must have a standing mixer with a dough hook. I have neither, so I just used my hands and it turned out great! It's not a very sweet bread, which is fine. I am pleased with how soft it has stayed. (Homemade bread gets stale quickly.)
American Sandwich Bread by Brown Eyed Baker. This is what I make for my family for all our bread now. Instead of using only All-Purpose-Flour, I use 1 c. each APF, Whole Wheat, and Bread Flour. And 1/2 cup Flax Seed. Mix it up on Dough Cycle of bread machine and follow rest of directions as recipe says. Sometimes I use molasses instead of honey.
It's time to pin this recipe because I swear by it. I am lazy and don't like letting bread rise, tried a few no-rise bread recipes, and ALWAYS come back to this one. SO GOOD. It's great with white flour but also great half and half with white and wheat. You'll never make bread for 5 hours again. PS - 200 degrees celsius is 400 fahrenheit :)
