My ideal kitchen would include: • jaw-dropping pendant lights • an antique farmhouse table • white cabinets and open shelving • carrera marble countertops - red wine spills be damned! • a fully-equipped espresso station • a vast collection of Mauviel copper pots hanging on display Subway tile

French country kitchen with white cabinets and wood floors.

The Smeg fridge is cool, but I especially love the floor to ceiling subway tiles (sans grubby kid smudges).

Love everything: color from rug, post+beam ceilings, color contrast in cabinets, light...

I like so many things about this kitchen. The dark wide plank floors, the white & glass cupboards to display pretty white dishes, the commercial grade appliances, ample amounts of counter space...

My ultimate floor goal - but sadly within a day my dog would scratch the floor, my husband would track grass all over and my kid would spill food all over it. Perhaps I'll try it anyways upstairs as I love it so!

i am looking for a bench to create mud room area by back door - maybe we will make one. ;)
