Make each child a "Making Words" folder.

Make each child a "Making Words" folder. Laminate letters and use velcro backs, last long time. Can be used for building words center time and free time to practice spelling/sight words

Standard:CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.1.2.D Use conventional spelling for words with common spelling patterns and for frequently occurring irregular words. Critique: This is a first grade learning station for word study. I think it is a good station. It allows the students to pick three stations they are going to do for word studying. I would not change anything with these stations. They are good for first graders.
