Homemade ‘Nilla Wafers This turned out to be almost spot on. I added a pinch of salt and a bit more vanilla - simply because my granny used to say you can never add too much vanilla and then she would splash a bit more into the bowl.
Red Beet Cookies | Weelicious I just made some of these and they are amazing!!! With a little cream cheese frosting they are even better. you really need to try it before you turn your nose up at them. Just plain, they have a bit of an earthy taste but the cream cheese makes all the difference. AND... I DID ADD 1TSP OF VANILLA TO THE BATTER. Next time I'm going to add chocolate chips....awwww.
