Cooperative Game: Barnyard (Each person is given the name of an animal with approximately three-five people having the same animal. Spread the group across a field, court, classroom, etc. No one is allowed to tell another which animal he is. At the signal each person makes the noise of the animal that he has been given. The first group to find all of their animals and sit down are the winners. )

Using classroom discussion cards in whole group and small group. Love these "What Would You Do?" cards to reinforce classroom procedures and expectations!

Love this creative idea for a fun birthday board! Students were grouped by month and held their birthdays up on whiteboards.

Taking photos of each child and gluing them to a block. Makes it very personal and included in the classroom. This would be great as a social and interactive ice breaker activity as well as incorporating these blocks into normal block and construction play. From a Reggio inspired website. Great!
