Raised beds, collecting rainwater as well. - perhaps tiered beds can have a French drain at the end that catches excess water run off from the rain. It would be a larger area to collect rain water and would only be extra If the other plants were all watered.

You can use mirrors in the garden , I never throw mirrors away! Especially nice in the shady parts to bring in more light.Using a mirror to extend water feature and garden.

    If not looking for flawless one can make this using sand and plastic for a mold. Pile the wet sand then pack it best you can the height &diameter for end results. Lay medium weight plastic over this, then pour concrete over the plastic. Concrete needs to be firm enough that it doesn't run off. Let dry.
