Paper bats are best used under cover of a porch and only for a few days around Halloween. If you want something more durable, laminate the paper or cut them out of plastic plates spray painted black. #Halloween #crafts #diy #outdoors #bats
Spook up your front porch, walkway, foyer or any dark corner with this rustic recycling project that uses a (free!) wood pallet to craft a Halloween pumpkin you can display year after year. Learn how to make your own with our step-by-step instructions.
Want to make your plastic pumpkin look real? Use antiquing acrylic paint from the craft store! My stand by color is called "burnt umber". Pour some paint onto a plate and add a little water, then mix. Next, brush paint onto your pumpkin. Wipe off with a dry paper towel in an up and down motion. Once dry, spray with an acrylic sealer. EASY!!
