    This is one of my husband's favorite meals. So easy! We make it with onion soup mix, mushroom soup, and canned mushrooms.

    I make it (Pinterest recipe) with 8 oz. Ginger ale (Vernors) instead of water.

    Does that make it taste sweet if you use ginger ale?

    Kathy G., It might add a slight sweetness but not enough to change the flavor of the dish. It's just an option instead of plain water. You could also substitute low salt broth.
