1/2 cup Brown sugar, packed light
1/4 cup Brown sugar, packed
3/4 tsp Cinnamon, ground
1/2 tsp Cloves, ground
1/4 tsp Freshly milled black pepper
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 Vanilla bean
1/4 cup Vegetable shortening
2 cups Whole wheat flour
