black mondo grass and gold Japanese forest grass- love how from the right angle the fountain is watering the "green" grass

Raised beds, collecting rainwater as well. - perhaps tiered beds can have a French drain at the end that catches excess water run off from the rain. It would be a larger area to collect rain water and would only be extra If the other plants were all watered.

this into the long reflecting pool into the infinity pool recycled back to this water fall.......... too much ?? naa!!

I really like the shape of this fountain, but would give more space between levels to provide more of a sense of openness, and more emphatic "water music".

This would be cool to connect with a disconnected downspout system! Maybe funnel rainwater through a gravel bed, then have it rush through this to a swale???

The oak block water feature, nicknamed "Chunky," was the hero for this project. In the building contract, Baker and Handley specified that a particular furniture builder, Stephen Iino, be awarded the realization of "Chunky" who was made out of an oak block sourced from a Pennsylvania mill and can be used as a bench.

Water features create an oasis in the garden. They do not have to large ponds to be effective.
