Dried pea wreath..I think I'd mix in orange lentils and some other colors for an autumn wreath - or a red bow for Christmas!!!

Split Pea Wreath from a blog I like called little things bring smiles. She calls it a Spring wreath, but I'm thinking Christmas! You can get a huge bag of spit peas at Walmart for under $1. Hot glue small sections at a time. You could add red with a bow on top.

Hehehehe, it's peas! I hate split pea soup, but I love this split pea wreath for St. Patty's Day. So it needs a bow of some sort...something really rustic or some other type of embellishment, but damn its cute and peas are dirt cheap!

A great pea wreath: Grab a straw wreath for the base and a ton of hot glue gun sticks. Open a bag of dried split peas. Start applying glue to wreath and drop peas onto glue, pressing carefully (don't burn yourself) to adhere. Do this over a shoebox or newspaper to catch the fallen peas so you can reuse them. Let everything dry. Then hang with a pretty ribbon.
