Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

President Calvin Coolidge signed the bill creating a 96,000-acre park, which encompassed only the Teton Range and six glacial lakes at the foot of those peaks, in 1929. Expanding park protection to include the valley floor was not completed until 1950.

This reminds me of Dorothy. Feels like there should be a tornado in the background and a girl in a blue checkered dress with her dog in the foreground.

Old barns built by people of German heritage (such as the Amish) usually had a "ramp" made out of earth, going to the main door. Barns by people of Scandanavian heritage were often completely stone, with no ramps. Neat!
