Diff'rent Strokes: What you talkin' 'bout, Willis? One of the best and one of the few that aired on two different networks: NBC from November 3, 1978, to May 4, 1985, and on ABC from September 27, 1985, to March 7, 1986.

Different Strokes talked a lot about real issues in the world at that time. This show also started the catch phrase "which you talkin' bout' Willis?"

Eight Is Enough!...I loved this sitcom!!

A popular tv show in the 1980s, Three's Company, was about three roommates. The comedy told the misunderstandings, troubles, and social lives of each of the characters, including their landlord.

A Family Affair. Buffy, Jody, Cissy, Uncle Bill and Mr. French. Does anybody remember how traumatic it was when Buffy left Mrs. Beasly behind on the elevator and Mr. French couldn't find her? I was completely traumatized. The innocent days. And what little girl didn't want to grow up to be Cissy? What a darling show!

Alice/••••another really good comedy. The 30 minute sit com ruled night time TV for awhile there. There were a few dramas and variety shows, but not many.
