Romesco Sauce, Bon Appetit Jan I served this last night with steak and it was delicious. NOTE: start off with HALF the amount of cayenne and season to taste. The amount the recipe calls for is the equivalent of "hot", half as much would be "medium."
Recipe: Berry Sauce. We stir this into plain, Greek Yogurt or layer it in popsicle molds alternating between the sauce and vanilla yogurt for a frozen yogurt swirl pop. We also spoon it over waffles. Possibilities are endless. Love it :)
Bahārāt - Spice blend used in cooking - Aromatic, warm, and sweet, a pinch of bahārāt can add depth and flavor to soups, tomato sauces, lentils, rice pilafs, and couscous. It can also be used as a rub for fish, poultry, and meat; mixed with olive oil and used as a vegetable marinade; and blended with garlic, parsley, and olive oil to make a condiment paste.
Homemade horseradish condiment/sauce- 1c. fresh horseradish, 1.5 sea salt, 1/4c. whey, 2T-1/4c. filtered water. blend or pulse into a smooth paste, adding water if necessary. put in jar and add water to fill to top of jar. cover loosely. let sit 3-7 days before moving to refrigerator.
