Hummus

Vegan • Gluten free • 10 mins to make • Makes 2 3/4 cups

Produce

2 cups Chickpeas, canned
4 Garlic cloves
2 tbsp Water or liquid from the chickpeas

Condiments

8 dashes Hot sauce
6 tbsp Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/3 cup Tahini

Baking & Spices

1 1/2 tsp Kosher salt

    Best hummus recipe - Barefoot Contessa...increase this recipe to two cans of chic peas, and then increase the rest of the ingredients by half, with a little extra lemon juice to taste (I used almost 5 lemons). Only use the amount of salt in the initial recipe, otherwise it could be too salty. For sauce I used Louisiana hot sauce, and you can't really taste it. That being said this is GREAT HUMMUS!
