From My Shabby Streamside Studio There's something to be said for the Shabby Chic approach to a Tiny House interior. For one thing, you could work with lesser quality wood, mismatched wood and damaged pieces of furniture. Everything matches because it all ends up white. The look has been around for awhile, so maybe it is old, but it is versatile and can form a neutral background for splashes of color. Not to mention, white is space expanding.

Colonial cottage by the sea ~ dream come true! Love the fencing and the stone walkway too. No fireplace required ~ unless it was electric with the faux brick on top for decoration. Seems a bit wasteful though.
