David Shannon can tell delightful tales at which both children and adults laugh. Duck on a Bike is a great book with lots of farm animals.

Moo by David LaRochelle. Hilariously told with just ONE word throughout, this is an awesome tale for all ages! Easily could be used in a classroom setting to talk about communication, also great for kids needing help with social skill development, about how we say things conveys meaning as well as the words themselves. (2013) Who Put the Cookies in the Cookie Jar? by George Shannon. In library as a picture book, but talks about all the people with different tasks that lead to the cookies being made.

I Ain't Gonna Paint No More! - My students LOVE this book. We read it then did a self portrait that they could paint however they wanted. I had parents ask who wrote it because they said their kids were begging them to get it because it was their favorite. A win I would say.
