When I'm Upset Card - This printable behavior support is a choice card for students with Autism or other visual learners. The "When I'm Upset," card offers students calming choices to be done in a "quiet area," when upset or calming down from a tantrum.

Low-tech: Visual schedules allow students to organize their day.  It can be used to set up a student’s entire day like the one shown in the picture or it can be used to show smaller portions of the students day like how many tasks they needed to receive a break. Pros: Students can see what will be expected of them at all times. Cons: Students can become too dependent on their schedule and not react well to uncontrollable changes in their schedule (like a fire drill).

Our autism consultant made this visual schedule -- the pieces are connected and fold over so teachers and students dont loose them. Would be great for a chore chart for any kid.
