I have always loved the look of framed mirrors... but instead of buying molding and going through all the steps, we measured the mirror and then headed to Goodwill! Ended up finding a $10 black frame that was the perfect size! Just glued it to the mirror and called it a day! framed my mirror but without having to miter the corners . I went to home depot picked out primed door molding and had them cut to my needed size, for the corners I bought medallions. I used liquid nails as well but glued together right to the mirror . Tape to hold while drying.
We just finished this project last week. We got our baseboards from Lowe's and painted them and it is amazing how different our bathrooms look with such a small improvement! And for such a low price!
DIY Framed Mirror Tutorial~ Thick baseboard (I think it was about$10 or $11 each... we used 2 pieces) And some corner round molding. cut a frame, after measuring the mirror... using 45 degree anglesattached the corner round to the edges of the frame with some wood gluecouple coats of semi-gloss white paint. The secret weapon... "The distress ink!"
