Turn Any Yard of Fabric into a Chic Beach Wrap

Now that you've picked out your perfect grill, it's time to get yourself to the beach! When we saw this wrap in the latest Victoria's Secret catalog we knew we had to make it, and we knew we could make it rock. Head to a fabric store or grab a scarf you never wear, and get ready to wrap it up.

Princess towel coverups. Super fun for beach or after pool. Amber, you should do this for Brie!

I especially like the white one with the little bits of lace. What a clever idea for old T-shirts!

Easy abstract painting that anyone can do! Just blob the paint on the canvas in random spots and blend! (would be interesting how students could make different pictures w/ the same colors and same blob positions)

easy lap quilt by tcockburn2002, via Flickr I cut 10 x 5 rectangles from various red fabrics, created blocks using two different red panels, and then did a fence row-esque pattern, alternating vertical and horizontal placement. Simple straightline quilting and used strips of reds for my binding. Used a bedsheet for the backing in a nice grey.

One square yard of fabric turned into a vest/wrap with just one cut. No sewing!

I might make more of these too... @Erica Wright will have to bring hers if we want to try to show and tell. But I need to make one for ME now!! DIY: Wrap Bracelets - I LOVE this, but I have yet to actually make one for me... I've only made them for friends so far!! I dubbed this one by new go-to birthday gift! OH! And the length was WAY TOO short! Measure it on your wrist before you cut!

T shirt remake with inserted lace panel.
