how to finish off embroidery for hanging in a hoop

chalkboard embroidery hoop - I can get hoops and chalkboard vinyl pieces at the dollar store! ml: wow, this is almost exactly what i was imagining! i would put a circle of fabric in the hoop with a little lip showing then baste the chalkboard circles on to the fabric. bring a little more crafty flair to it.

I ordered a 100 yard spool of sequins and cut them and hot glued them to an embroidery hoop. Looks pretty good for like $8 eh? I am thinking it needs some rhinestones glued around the circle at the top though.

Hang jewelry from this stand made from repurposed spindles from an early chair that was irreparable along with some old painted oak wood which has some great colors coming up and an old wooden inverted hanger.
