The newest craze.. I read the first two books and they were pretty good. In my opinion it was too much like the hunger games… The first book I read in a few days but the second got a bit boring though I did finish it. Unfortunately I didn't read the third since I was borrowing the books from a friend who moved away before she was done with the book herself. But I don't think the ending is that surprising so I'll live.

This list is a far from complete list of some of my favorites - they are warriors, scholars, mothers, daughters; they can be wildly in love and impressively practical; they are a little too perfect and incredibly flawed. Most of them have happy endings, some of them don't. In an nutshell - these are girls who act like girls should and must.

Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu. Love the characters and the story! Similar to Divergent and the Hunger Games. (Better than Divergent, in my opinion.)
