Make a Stain-Treatment Kit--Keep a variety of remedies at the ready: Cornstarch, to absorb fresh grease stains; oil solvents, or dry-cleaning fluids, for greasy residue; combination solvents and a mild, clear dishwashing liquid for all-purpose stain removal; natural bleaching agents (lemon juice and white vinegar); glycerin, for ballpoint ink; and eyedroppers and cotton swabs, for easy application.
**Grease stain removal** Put dish soap w/oxy on the stains & rub in to the fabric. Let it soak in hot water for 15 min. Wash as normal & let it air dry (in case the stains didn't come out). If the grease stain is still there after washing and drying, you'll need to "reactivate" the grease stain by spraying it with WD 40 (sounds counter intuitive, right?), then putting Dawn soap on it, let it sit for a few minutes, rub the spot with an old toothbrush and then wash. Comes right out.
