vintage - The car my Dad bought for the three of us to learn to drive. It was a stick, small and cheap on gas. A quarter would give you a 1/4 of a tank and we could drive all night until our curfew at 10 p.m.
VW Beetle, The photo doesn't do justice to this car, truly a work of art. The entire car is covered with elaborate designs made with tiny seed beads in the style of Huichol art. It's a sight to behold! The entire beadwork took around 7 months.
The Original VW Beetle...it would be in better condition after rolling down into a 30-foot ravine than a Toyota after hitting a curb. The cabin is water-tight so it won't sink. And if the garage isn't an option, pluck it in the living room!
lacy beetle (could get a little wet, cold and could get a very interesting suntan. Very cool.
I had one of these. The sunroof leaked and you'd get a lap full of water. Not to mention the driver door didn't latch, so it would swing wide open when you made a turn and hopefully would swing shut on completing your turn. Still makes me chuckle to think of it.
