You Will Need... 5 pool noodles 10 chopsticks or bamboo skewers - Push 2 bamboo skewers half way into the ground about 30 inches apart, depending on how tall you want your wickets. - Slide a hollow pool noodle into place over the skewers. - Children can use these wickets for relay races, target practice, soccer croquet, or anything else they can dream up.
Made these snowballs by dipping syrofoam balls into a bowl of watered-down white glue ~~ then rolling them in another bowl of clear glitter. We used bamboo skewers (sticks) to hold onto them and stuck them into a block of styrofoam to dry. The glitter will get clumpy from the glue…but that’s good, it give the “snowballs” a more realistic look.
Bamboo skewers, playdough & colourful drinking straws cut in pieces- fun idea to look at patterns and sequences and also fine motor sills. Can also use to practice addition, greater than, less than, counting and more!
