Easy project - make bird feeder stars to hang from backyard trees. We have all of the stuff to do this right now!

Boil 1 envelope unflavored gelatin in 1/4 c. Water and dissolve, let cool 1 min., stir in 3/4 c. Bird seed and fill cookie cutters on waxed paper 1/2 full, cut twine and tie a knot to form loop place knot on seeds and fill top of cookie cutter to cover. Press to fill. Dry overnight and slip out of cookie cutter. Too cute! Fun to do with the kids or grand kids!

Recycled Bird Feeder......going to use as a VBS craft!! Grades from 2nd-6th did this craft. I let them use glitter glue on the bottle instead of painting things on. Had to do some "tweaking" but it came out ok

I love how mine turned out (not pictured) but words for the wise if you try this, don't add the potting soil in the 6" pots until after you've transferred your flowers to the pots.

"Candy dish picked up at thrift store and candle stick also picked up from thrift store. Glue the candle stick to the inside of the candy dish and you have upcycled into a glitzy bird feeder!"

$1 idea SBG thinks this would make super holiday gifts! But you can always use them at home :)
