During our morning meeting, we color code the message. Everyday we look for capital letters and color them green, punctuation is red, and sight words are in orange.

These would be excellent icebreakers for a children's / YA group / meeting. Clever.

This is a great family activity to do before school starts! Parents lead your children to discuss what makes a good friend and make the chart together. Throughout the year when friendship issue arise, refer back to this list to help your child process the makings of a good friendship. Parents can share stories of their friendships and what made the friendship special.

The use of classroom/community meetings to build rapport and relationships. Taking the time for a daily morning meeting is a great way to start the day off right!
