Five Little Pumpkins Hand Puppet

In this activity the kids will be looking at a pumpkin and doing a worksheet. The worksheet has questions like does a pumpkin float or sink. They will also count the seeds and be able to touch the inside of the pumpkin.

Teaching geography? Make Pumpkin Globes! - Tape down the continents and paint the pumpkin blue. The next day, remove the continents and color them in green with marker. Put two rubber bands around the pumpkin to represent the equator and voila, Pumpkin Globe!

We have a pumpkin Chart. I would put it on a magnetic board and have multiple shapes for each face feature. Laminate the sentences to write and erase. We would first do this activity as a class. Then have it set up for kids to do on their own.
