20 Quick and "healthy" breakfasts. I like some of these ideas. They get beyond Starbucks and a scone OR the ol' fashioned eggs and bacon. Fruit in the morning is great for digestion. Vegetables introduced an hour after eating fruit or fruit juice. It'll help balance your pH and ease your digestion.
Avocado chicken parmigiana-Mmmm. I was not expecting this to be so easy, but it was very simple and so fast! It turned out great and everyone loved it. We used some homemade pizza sauce leftover from another night. The avocado was perfectly creamy and added such a welcoming contrast to the crisp and moist chicken. We ate this with a salad, but I am sure with pasta it would be great too.
Arugula Salad w/ Mango, Macadamia & Avocado :: 1 large mango, cubed • 1 avocado, diced • 3/4 cup macadamia nuts, roasted/salted • 5 cups fresh arugula • optional add-in's: sweet onions, diced apple. Dressing :: 1/4 cup lemon juice • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar • 1/4 cup olive oil • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard • 1 tsp agave syrup • pepper • dash garlic powder
