The Shangri-La at the Fort in Manila is scheduled to open on March 1 in a 820-foot tower. It will be the Shangri-La brand's third hotel in the Philippines city. Besides the 576 hotel rooms, Shangri-La at the Fort will have 97 luxury residences on the top floors. The hotel said it will have the city’s largest banquet space (one ballroom can accommodate 1,200 guests, the other 715). There will be 19 other meeting rooms.

Starwood rebrands existing resort, the Imperial Samui Beach Resort to Sheraton Samui Resort, Koh Samui by the end of this year, the resort offers 141 guestrooms and when rebranding is finished, will offer a gym, Kids’ Club, the all-day dining Feast eatery, Sky Light Lounge, Tara Restaurant, a freshwater swimming pool and saltwater swimming pool with views of the Gulf of Thailand.
The Westin Rusutsu Resort is located in the northernmost region of Japan’s main islands, Rusutsu serves as one of country’s most popular year-round resorts and specifically offers a wealth of winter recreational activities. Scheduled to open in December 2015, the Westin Rusutsu Resort will feature 210 guestrooms, including suites that offer up to seven beds for large groups or families.
