another recipe for homemade cheez-its Same recipe as the one I've used, except that this poster used a standmixer and I used a food processor. Think I'll try the mixer next time! And I want mine thinner like these! =)

Homemade Cheez-Its 8 oz Grated cheddar 3 TBS unsalted butter, room temp 1 TBS shortening 1/2 TSP salt 1/2 TSP cayenne +/ dash hot sauce 1 C flour 2 TBSP ice H20 Combine cheese, butter, shortening, salt, pep. Add flour, then H20. Chill 30 min. Roll 1/8, cut 1" sq. Bake 375 10-15 min.
