Boxes from the Target Dollar Spot" or the Dollar store covered with polka dot scrapbook paper and attached to white board with magnetic clips. They hold remotes, chart markers, dry erase markers, erasers, and board clips.
Library sticks will help my Firsties put books back where they found them. Each student has a stick with their number on it. When they take a book from the box, they put their stick in. Then they know where to return their book.
Pull "Lucky Duck" stick with students' name. the lucky duck's task is to stay on task and behave well throughout the day. At the end of the day, say who was the lucky duck and say if they are successful.
Unfinished Work Tip: Worksheets no longer get lost or forgotten with this attractive solution. Give each student a magnetic clip for her desk and have her attach any unfinished work to her clip. Not only will she know where to find the paper to finish it
A great way to have students turn in their homework. I don't have enough wall space, so maybe a binder OR hanging file folder? I'd love to just not do homework.I think I'll call students to line up for recess as I pull out their homework :)
